FAQ

01

How does Merlin Labs help me?

Merlin Labs provides both a physical lab space and an enterprise-grade virtual sandbox. It allows our portfolio companies to install, configure, and test their software in secure, simulated customer network environments with a range of enterprise cybersecurity solutions to validate capabilities and accelerate development.

02

What do you mean by "Go-to-Market Muscle"?

Our Business Development team actively assist our portfolio with sales execution, brokering introductions across our network of cybersecurity practitioners. Portfolio companies are able to use this assistance to quickly get feedback on what they are building, refine their solution, and then find early design partners and customers as the product matures.

03

How does Merlin help startups navigate federal compliance?

Our sister company Merlin Cyber is a leading provider of solutions to the US Government market. Through our partnership with them, we are able to offer our companies early guidance (often before they ever write a line of code) on best practices for product development that will ease their eventual entry into government markets. As our companies progress, we are able to help our companies implement FedRAMP and other federal security frameworks, reducing the time and cost required to achieve authorization to operate (ATO).

04

What is the CISO Expert Network and how does it work?

Our Expert Network consists of hundreds of active and former cybersecurity practitioners from major enterprises and government agencies. We coordinate advisory sessions, product feedback reviews, and direct introductions to help you align your product roadmap with buyer needs and drive early revenue.
